Kuwait city: Kuwait's foreign ministry is holding the fourth round of high-level "strategic dialogue" with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), it said in a statement on Sunday. The talks are presided over by Kuwaiti Deputy Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Al-Sabah and ICRC chief Mirjana Spoljaric. The focus is on "strategic and historic" bilateral relations that date back more than three decades, highlighting these ties as having set a "precedent" for international cooperation. According to Kuwait News Agency, the efforts of the ICRC in following up on the issue of missing Kuwaiti prisoners of war over the past decades were acknowledged during the talks. The discussions yielded a grant agreement to fund healthcare and clean water projects in Sudan and Somalia.
