Kuwait Highlights Breakthrough in Gulf Cooperation Council Leadership

Kuwait city: Kuwait's Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya, who is currently serving as the chair of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Ministerial Council, announced that Kuwait's presidency has marked a significant advancement in joint Gulf action. This leadership period has been instrumental in advancing integration, strengthening regional security, and enhancing the Council's visibility on both regional and international platforms.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Belgium actively participated in a charity bazaar organized by the Asia-Pacific Women's Association (APWA). This event aimed to raise funds for children and women affected by conflict in regions such as Gaza and Sudan.

In another development, the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) issued a call for increased efforts to achieve a just and peaceful resolution to the Palestinian issue.

Meanwhile, the 48th Kuwait International Book Fair hosted a panel discussion focusing on the influence of Kuwaiti media on cultural developments. The discussion was moderated by Fahad Al-Husseini and highlighted the media's role in shaping cultural narratives.

In the realm of sports, several Kuwaiti shooters were crowned champions at the late Sheikh Ali Al-Sabah annual shooting tournament, celebrating their outstanding performances during the event.
