Kuwait city: Minister of Health Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadi chaired a meeting of the permanent committee of the medical insurance hospitals to follow up on operating the system and complete requirements for licensing and transferring.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Ministry of Health stated that the minister and officials participating in the meeting discussed means of support and coordination to ensure the actual operation of the insurance-linked hospitals. The discussions also focused on completing the issuance of permits and organizing transfer procedures for beneficiaries to receive treatment at these hospitals.
The statement highlighted that the "Dhaman" hospitals are part of the Medical Dhaman Hospitals Company (Dhaman). This entity had been established in partnership between the private and public sectors, aiming to establish an integrated system including hospitals and medical centers.
