Kuwait Health Minister Engages in Talks with Sidra Medicine Delegation for Healthcare Collaboration.


KUWAIT CITY: Kuwaiti Minister of Health Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi engaged in discussions with a delegation from Qatar’s Sidra Medicine to explore ways of enhancing cooperation in healthcare and scientific research between the two nations. The meeting focused on strengthening joint efforts to improve medical services and research capabilities.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the discussions included reviewing joint training programs designed to enhance the skills and efficiency of medical personnel in both countries. The meeting also explored opportunities for exchanging expertise and services. A significant point of discussion was the policy of sending Kuwaiti patients to Sidra Medicine for treatment, particularly for cases that require advanced medical technologies not presently available in Kuwait.

The visit is part of a broader initiative to enhance regional cooperation in medical care, with a particular focus on children dealing with complex medical issues that demand specialized attention. Dr. Hisham Kelend
