KUWAIT, Means to boost ties between Kuwait and Greece featured high on a meeting held Monday between Undersecretary of Kuwait’s Ministry of Finance Aseel Al-Munifi, and Greek Minister of Development and Investment Adonis Georgiadis and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic Diplomacy and Openness Kostas Fragogiannis.
The Greek delegation made an offer on investment opportunities in Greece and the common desire of holding the joint Kuwaiti-Greek committee to discuss the opportunities of renewable energy, education, health and commercial exchange, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Finance said in a news statement.
The Greek side expressed readiness to offer its experience in developing Failaka Island project to make it a tourist and entertaining destination, it added.
The meeting was attended by Managing Director of the General Authority for Investment Ghanem Al-Ghenaiman and the Ministry’s assistant undersecretary for economic affairs Talal al-Nemesh for.
