Kuwait City: Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya on Thursday received a written message from President of the Republic of Tajikistan addressed to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The message was delivered by the Tajik Ambassador to the State of Kuwait, Dr. Zubaydullo Zubaydov, during a reception at the Foreign Ministry's headquarters.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the message highlighted the close friendship between the two countries and discussed ways to strengthen ties in various areas. It also marked the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the State of Kuwait.
Additionally, Minister Al-Yahya received an identical letter from President Rahmon addressed to His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, as well as a similar letter from the Foreign Minister of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddinmet.
