Kuwait city: Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya met on Tuesday United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Tom Fletcher, on the occasion of his visit to Kuwait. The meeting addressed the close ties between Kuwait and the UN, its agencies and specialized bodies, as well as discussing current humanitarian developments in the region.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the discussions between Al-Yahya and Fletcher were centered on enhancing cooperation between Kuwait and the United Nations.
