Kuwait FM Meets Tunisian Counterpart on Sidelines of OIC Extraordinary Session

Jeddah: Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya met Monday with his Tunisian counterpart Mohammad Nefti on the sidelines of the extraordinary session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) at the ministerial level, held in Jeddah. During the meeting, the two ministers reviewed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen and develop them across various fields, as well as the latest regional and international developments, with a focus on the current events in the occupied Palestinian territories.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the discussions between Al-Yahya and Nefti emphasized collaborative efforts to enhance cooperation between Kuwait and Tunisia. The ministers acknowledged the importance of continuing dialogue to address pressing issues affecting the region and reiterated their commitment to finding peaceful solutions to ongoing conflicts.

The meeting took place against the backdrop of the OIC session, which brought together representatives from member countries to deliberate on various challenges facing the Islamic world. The discussions also highlighted the shared interest of Kuwait and Tunisia in promoting stability and security in the region.
