Kuwait FM Meets Egyptian Counterpart on OIC Meeting Sidelines

Jeddah: Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya met Monday with his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdelatty on the sidelines of the extraordinary session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) at the ministerial level, held in Jeddah. During the meeting, the two ministers tackled bilateral relations and means of promoting and developing them across various domains, along with the latest regional and international developments, mainly the current situation in occupied Palestinian territories.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the discussions between Al-Yahya and Abdelatty focused on strengthening the ties between Kuwait and Egypt. Both parties expressed commitment to enhancing cooperation in multiple sectors. The ministers also exchanged views on the regional and international issues that are currently affecting the geopolitical landscape, with a particular emphasis on the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories. The meeting underscored the importance of collaboration and dialogue in addressing these challenges.
