Kuwait FM and Vatican Secretary of State Discuss Bilateral Relations and Global Peace Initiatives

Kuwait city: Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya met with the Secretary of State of the Vatican, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, to discuss the foundation of bilateral relations built on mutual humanitarian values. The meeting highlighted dialogue, understanding, and mutual respect as the cornerstones of their relationship.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the discussions also focused on enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest, particularly concerning the culture of peace, coexistence, and the promotion of human values. The two sides exchanged views on regional and international developments and explored ways to promote security and stability.

The meeting further delved into boosting dialogue among peoples and faiths, as well as supporting global peace initiatives. To honor the Vatican guest, Al-Yahya hosted a banquet, underscoring the importance of their diplomatic engagement.
