Sharjah: The Ministry of Finance of Kuwait announced its achievement in winning the third edition of the Sharjah Award for Public Finance (2024-2025), recognizing its significant role in delivering financial services.
According to Kuwait News Agency, representatives from 17 countries competed for this prestigious award, highlighting the competitive nature of the event. In a press release on Wednesday, Minister of Finance Noura Al-Fassam emphasized that the award is a testament to the ministry's dedication to enhancing the efficiency of financial performance and the quality of its services.
The ministry affirmed its commitment to further developing financial services, aligning with the directives from the Council of Ministers to digitize services. The statement revealed that Al-Fassam accepted the award on behalf of the ministry, which has been involved in the digital payment project for government services. This project allows government entities to conduct online purchases, pay fees, and meet their financial obligations seamlessly.
