Kuwait Engages in Arab Symposium on Military Training

Cairo: The Arab symposium for heads of military training bodies commenced in Cairo on Sunday, focusing on the role of self-learning in enhancing army capabilities and readiness to tackle future challenges, with Kuwait actively participating.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Tarek Abdulsalam, Minister Plenipotentiary and Director of the Military Affairs Department in the National Security Sector of the Arab League, emphasized that the symposium serves as a crucial platform reflecting the depth of Arab military cooperation. It aims to bolster the armed forces' capabilities across Arab nations, aligning with evolving security and technological landscapes.

Abdulsalam highlighted the symposium's focus, noting the increasing significance of self-learning in developing military skills to keep up with technological advancements. This approach aims to boost personnel readiness and their ability to engage with contemporary operational environments.

He described self-learning as an integrated approach, enabling individuals to acquire skills from various sources, thus forming a foundational path for preparing leaders and trainers within Arab military institutions.

Kuwait's participation is marked by a delegation led by the Chief of the Military Education Authority, Naval Brigadier General Abdallah Al-Dousari. The five-day symposium delves into the influence of self-learning on the future capabilities of Arab armed forces, along with its effects on training systems and military operations.
