Kuwait Emphasizes Technological Development at Robotics Olympic

Ahmadi: Ahmadi Governor Sheikh Humoud Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah has reaffirmed Kuwait's focus on advancing in computing, artificial intelligence, and other technological fields. This announcement was made during the final session of the Kuwaiti Robotics Olympic 2025.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Sheikh Humoud highlighted the importance of supporting and encouraging participation from various official departments. This aligns with the necessity to keep pace with technological changes and advance sustainable development across multiple sectors. He emphasized the need to empower the younger generation to find solutions using information technology, thereby enhancing quality of life.

Hamida Rhaimi, the organizer of the Olympic, noted that preparations for the event began in January last year across 100 countries. Four teams have qualified for the finals in Singapore, while 11 others will participate in regional competitions. Rhaimi expressed gratitude to supporters, including the Kuwait Oil Company, Sabah Al-Ahmad Giftedness and Creativity Center, the American University for the Middle East, the Public Authority for the Youth, and 180 participating schools.
