Kuwait Embassy in US Marks Independence and Liberation Days

Washington: The Kuwait Embassy in the United States hosted a reception to commemorate the 65th Independence Day and the 35th Liberation Day.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Kuwait Ambassador to the US Sheikha Al-Zain Al-Sabah expressed heartfelt congratulations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and the Kuwaiti people. Sheikha Al-Zain highlighted the strong strategic relations between Kuwait and the US, noting that the event coincides with the 35th anniversary of the US-led international coalition's operations to liberate Kuwait.

Sheikha Al-Zain emphasized the role of culture and heritage in fostering understanding and friendship among nations. She mentioned the participation of Kuwait's Sadu House in preparing for the Sadu exhibition, which aims to showcase Kuwait's cultural identity and enhance its presence in the US.

The reception was attended by senior US Administration officials, members of the diplomatic corps, and several dignitaries.
