Riyadh: The Kuwait Embassy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia celebrated the 65th Independence Day and the 35th Liberation Day on Wednesday. The event was graced by the Deputy Governor of Riyadh Province, Prince Mohammad bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, along with senior officials, dignitaries, and heads of diplomatic missions in the Kingdom.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Kuwait Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Sabah Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, welcomed the attendees and expressed appreciation to all participants in the celebrations. In his speech, the ambassador extended congratulations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and the Kuwaiti government and people.
The ambassador highlighted the significance of commemorating these national days in Saudi Arabia, coinciding with the Kingdom's Founding Day. He expressed sincere congratulations to Saudi Arabia, wishing for continued progress and prosperity under the leadership of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz. The ambassador also praised the strong relations between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
The ceremony featured a popular art performance by Hamad bin Hussein's band and an exhibition showcasing several portraits reflecting Kuwait's artistic culture.
