Kuwait Embassy in Germany Holds Forum to Promote Economic Cooperation

Berlin: The Embassy of Kuwait in Germany organized an economic forum at its premises in Berlin to explore cooperation and partnership opportunities with Germany. The event, conducted on Tuesday, aimed at strengthening bilateral economic ties.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the forum was held in collaboration with the German organization NUMOV, which specializes in fostering economic development between Germany and the Near and Middle East. The Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) participated via video conference, while representatives from 34 German companies in various commercial and investment sectors attended the event.

Kuwait's ambassador to Germany, Reem Al-Khaled, highlighted the forum's role in enhancing economic partnerships and expanding trade cooperation between Kuwait and Germany. She underscored Kuwait's commitment to bolstering economic ties and praised the current level of bilateral relations.

Ambassador Al-Khaled also expressed optimism about hosting German companies at the upcoming 9th Gulf-European Business Forum in Kuwait this November, aiming to explore further collaboration opportunities in line with Kuwait Vision 2035.

Bashayer Al-Otaibi, Head of the Projects Evaluation and Incentives Department at KDIPA, provided a presentation on Kuwait's investment environment, detailing the incentives available for German investors.
