Doha: The Embassy of Kuwait in Doha celebrated the 64th Independence and 34th Liberation Days on Thursday in the presence of ministers, ambassadors, and foreign and local dignitaries. Ambassador of Kuwait to Qatar Khaled Al-Mutairi praised at the ceremony His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Mutairi emphasized that the celebrations serve as an opportunity to highlight Kuwait's vision of peace, cooperation, and friendship among all countries and peoples of the world. He underscored Kuwait's commitment to enhancing cooperation with the GCC and all Arab countries, as well as supporting international efforts towards establishing global peace and security.
Al-Mutairi commended the strong Qatari-Kuwaiti relations, which have been maintained throughout history due to the care and wise directives of both countries' leaders. He also highlighted the achievements of the Sixth Qatari-Kuwaiti Joint Supreme Committee, which aimed to strengthen bilateral cooperation and development in various sectors through the signing of several agreements.
