Kuwait Embassy in Cuba and Consulate in Houston Celebrate National Days

Havana: The Kuwait Embassy in Cuba and the Consulate in the US state of Houston have hosted events to commemorate Kuwait's 65th National Day and 35th Liberation Day, attended by numerous officials and dignitaries. According to Kuwait News Agency, in Cuba, Kuwaiti Ambassador Adel Al-Adgham extended heartfelt congratulations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and the Kuwaiti government and citizens. He expressed a prayer for the continued security, safety, and prosperity of Kuwait under its leadership.

The ceremony in Cuba saw the participation of senior Cuban officials, including the water minister, deputy foreign minister, and deputy trade minister, alongside representatives from the diplomatic corps. The event underscored the importance of diplomatic ties and the shared celebrations between Kuwait and Cuba.

In Houston, the Consulate organized a similar celebration where congratulations were extended to Kuwait's leadership and citizens. Attendees included Gigi Lee, the Chief of International Affairs at the Mayor's Office of Trade and International Affairs in Houston, as well as consuls from Gulf countries, Kuwaiti nationals, and students. The announcement of February 25 as a friendship day between Houston and Kuwait highlighted the strong bonds and friendly relations between the two regions.

These celebrations reflect the efforts of Kuwaiti diplomatic missions to strengthen bilateral relations with other countries and emphasize Kuwait's national celebrations.
