Manama: The Embassy of Kuwait in Bahrain held a ceremony marking the 65th National Day and the 35th anniversary of Liberation Day. The event was attended by senior officials and diplomats, including Bahraini Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Khaled bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa, who represented the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Foreign Minister Abdullatif Al-Zayani, along with other senior officials and heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Bahrain, were also present.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Charge d'Affaires at the Kuwaiti Embassy, Counselor Yousef Al-Banwan, extended congratulations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and the Kuwaiti people. In his statement, Al-Banwan emphasized the pride in Kuwait's history and achievements, highlighting its development journey under wise leadership. He underscored the resilience, unity, and loyalty of the Kuwaiti people.
Al-Banwan also noted that celebrating in Bahrain reflects the deep-rooted ties and significant Gulf cooperation at political, economic, and cultural levels. He stressed the importance of continued coordination on issues of common interest and expressed wishes for lasting security, stability, and prosperity for both countries.
