Kuwait Embassies Celebrate National Days Across Europe and Africa

Kuwait city: Kuwait embassies in the Swiss Federation, The Netherlands, Nigeria, and Kuwait's consulate in Frankfurt marked the 65th Independence Day and the 35th Liberation Day. The celebrations were attended by senior officials, heads, and members of accredited diplomatic missions. According to Kuwait News Agency, in The Netherlands, Kuwait's Charge d'Affairs First Secretary Ibrahim Al-Dai expressed congratulations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and the Kuwaiti government and people. Al-Dai emphasized Kuwait's history of accomplishments and development, highlighting the nation's ties with the Netherlands based on mutual respect and constructive dialogue. The event included former Dutch prime minister Jan Peter Balkenende and other senior officials. In Switzerland, the Kuwait Embassy hosted a festival with senior officials and diplomatic missions present. Kuwait's Charge d'Affairs Saleh Al-Thuwaikh rema rked on the pride, sovereignty, and national unity represented by the ceremony. He extended congratulations to the Kuwaiti leadership and praised the historic relations with Switzerland, particularly noting the recent visit by Swiss President Guy Parmelin. In Germany, Kuwait's Consulate in Frankfurt held a ceremony where Consul Adel Al-Ghonaiman offered congratulations to the Kuwaiti leadership. He noted the strong ties between Kuwait and Germany and their mutual interest in enhancing cooperation. Meanwhile, in Nigeria, Kuwait's Ambassador Salem Al-Muzain hosted a reception, extending greetings to the Kuwaiti leadership and wishing the nation continued progress and prosperity.
