Kuwait city: The Ministry of Education has launched a project to implement artificial intelligence tools from Google for Education, in cooperation with Google and with participation from educational leaders and teachers. The initiative aims to enable about 40,000 secondary school teachers and department heads to use artificial intelligence in education safely and ethically.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs Hamad Al-Hamad stated that the project is a major national initiative designed to enhance digital skills and improve teaching practices in line with international standards. The project, which began in early 2026, is scheduled to continue through the end of the year. It aims to unify digital proficiency standards, improve learning outcomes, and foster innovation in teaching methods across all educational districts.
Al-Hamad further explained that the project aligns with Kuwait's vision to strengthen its leadership in digital education. He emphasized the key role of educational leaders and the importance of joint efforts in building an innovative, sustainable learning environment capable of preparing globally competitive generations.
