Kuwait Education Minister Stresses Cooperation with Oman in Educational Development

Muscat: Kuwaiti Minister of Education Sayed Jalal Al-Tabtabai emphasized the commitment to fostering cooperation and sharing expertise with the Sultanate of Oman in the educational sector. The minister conveyed these remarks to KUNA during his visit to the Omani Education Ministry's Specialized Institute for Vocational Training for Teachers.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the minister expressed his ministry's eagerness to enhance teachers' professional performance, train educational personnel, and stay updated with global educational advancements. The visit aimed at understanding the institute's operational mechanisms and exploring the training methodologies and professional programs available to teachers, which are intended to capitalize on leading educational experiences.

During the visit, the minister and his delegation were briefed on the institute's main training programs and their implementation strategies. Discussions were held on mutual benefits to achieve the professional development objectives of both countries. Additionally, the Kuwaiti minister participated in an international professional education conference in Muscat, which was attended by over 400 participants, including Gulf education ministers and experts from the region and worldwide.
