Kuwait city: Kuwait's national fencing team U-15 clinched a total of 16 medals on the fourth day of the West Asia Fencing Championship, currently being hosted in Bahrain. This impressive haul brings the total number of medals won by Kuwaiti athletes to 37 in the ongoing tournament, which features participation from 310 athletes representing 10 countries, and will continue until September 4.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the male team consisting of Khaled Al-Hawli, Ghazi Al-Enzi, Yusuf Al-Shammari, and Hussein Al-Hashmi secured four silver medals in the Epee contest. In parallel, the female team members Suhaila Al-Nakkas, Habari Al-Thuwaini, Sheikha Al-Butti, and Fatmah Mohammad also garnered four silver medals in the same category.
In the Foil category, the team of Nour Al-Najjar, Zeina Al-Omair, Sofia Al-Qattan, and Sheikha Al-Migelhim achieved second place, earning an additional four silver medals. Meanwhile, Bader Al-Saleh, Abdurrahman Al-Sabti, Abdullah Al-Rashidi, and Ahmad Jaber contributed four bronze medals in the Foil game.
