Kuwait City: Kuwaiti Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah met with the visiting UN Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Deputy Emergency Relief Coordinator Joyce Msuya on Tuesday. The UN official is in Kuwait to participate in the 2025 Global Humanitarian Overview (GHO), set to take place in the country. According to Kuwait News Agency, during the meeting, the deputy foreign minister emphasized the longstanding relationship between the State of Kuwait and the UN, a partnership that has endured for over sixty years. Discussions focused on enhancing bilateral ties across various sectors, especially in the humanitarian field.
