Kuwait city: The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the recent attack on World Food Program (WFP) aid convoys in Sudan, describing it as a flagrant violation of international laws and humanitarian efforts.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the ministry issued a press release stating Kuwait's denunciation of such criminal acts, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the Jeddah Declaration signed on May 11, 2023. The declaration highlights the necessity of ensuring safe access to humanitarian aid.
The ministry further expressed Kuwait's unwavering support for both regional and international initiatives aimed at restoring security and stability in Sudan, while also emphasizing the importance of safeguarding the nation's territorial integrity and the safety of its people.
