Kuwait city: Kuwaiti Defense Minister Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah sent a cable of condolences to US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth on the death of former US Vice President and Secretary of Defense, Dick Cheney.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Cheney played a significant role during the 1991 liberation of the State of Kuwait. His contributions during his tenure as both Vice President and Secretary of Defense are recognized and remembered by Kuwaiti officials.
