Kuwait City: His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received Minister of Commerce and Industry Khalifah Al-Ajeel at Bayan Palace on Monday. The meeting was also attended by the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Capital Markets Authority (CMA), Imad Tifoni, Vice Chairman Rayan Al-Zaid, and board members Tariq Shehab, Hessa Al-Roumi, and Thamer Al-Nusf, marking the formation of the new CMA board.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the meeting was convened to discuss the objectives and future direction of the Capital Markets Authority under its newly formed board. The discussions are likely to influence the strategic plans and regulatory oversight of financial markets in Kuwait.
