Kuwait Crown Prince Meets Chinese Vice President During Official Visit

Kuwait city: His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received Chinese Vice President Han Zheng and his delegation on Sunday as part of an official visit to the country. The reception commenced with the national anthems of both countries, emphasizing the diplomatic significance of the meeting.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the Chinese delegation included prominent figures such as Vice Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission Wang Changlin, Vice Minister of Transport Xu Chengguang, special envoy for the Middle East issue Zhai Jun, and Assistant Minister of Commerce Yuan Xiaoming. This visit underscores the importance of strengthening bilateral ties between Kuwait and China.

The ceremony was attended by key members of the Kuwaiti government, including First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, and the Head of the Crown Prince's Diwan Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. Also present were Minister of Public Works and Head of the accompanying delegation of honor Dr. Noura Mohammad Al-Mashaan and the Ambassador of Kuwait to China Jassim Al-Najem.
