Manila: Representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, met with the President of the Philippines, Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., on the sidelines of the GCC-ASEAN and GCC-ASEAN-China Summits.
According to Kuwait News Agency, His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait to the Filipino President. During the meeting, both parties discussed the bilateral relations between Kuwait and the Philippines, exploring ways to enhance ties. They also exchanged views on recent regional and international developments.
The meeting was attended by several key officials, including Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya, Foreign Affairs Undersecretary at the Crown Prince Diwan Mazen Al-Issa, Assistant Foreign Minister for the Foreign Minister's Office Ambassador Bader Al-Tunaib, and Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs Ambassador Sameeh Johar Hayat.
