Kuwait city: His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent a cable of congratulations to the President-Elect of Ireland, Catherine Connolly, on winning her country's election.
According to Kuwait News Agency, His Highness the Crown Prince expressed his wishes for further success and progress for both the official and the Irish people.
