Kuwait city: His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and Chinese Vice President Han Zheng convened an official session of talks on Sunday. The discussions highlighted the longstanding historical relations between Kuwait and China, focusing on strategies to develop and enhance the existing partnership across various sectors to benefit both nations and their citizens.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Kuwaiti delegation included prominent figures such as the Head of the Crown Prince's Diwan, Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdullah Al-Yahya. Also present were Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, Minister of Public Works and Head of the accompanying delegation of honor, and several other key ministers and officials from Kuwait's government and investment sectors.
The Chinese delegation was represented by high-ranking officials including Vice Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission, Wang Changlin, Vice Minister of Transport, Xu Chengguang, the Chinese government's special envoy for the Middle East issue, Zhai Jun, and Assistant Minister of Commerce, Yuan Xiaoming. The talks underscored the mutual interest in strengthening ties and exploring new avenues of cooperation between the two countries.
