Kuwait’s Consulate General in Istanbul assured Sunday that the Kuwaiti nationals in the city are safe and were not affected by the blast took place at noon.
The consulate said that it contacted Turkish authorities as soon as the blast happened to reassure about Kuwaitis.
The Turkish authorities affirmed that there was not any Kuwaiti national amongst the casualties.
The consulate appealed to its nationals in Istanbul to be vigilant and cautious, and stay away from gatherings as well as follow instructions of the Turkish authorities.
