Kuwait City: The State of Kuwait has issued a strong condemnation against the storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by members of the Israeli occupation government, along with some extremists and settlers. This act is considered a clear violation of international law and is seen as a provocation to Muslims worldwide.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement on Tuesday expressing grave concerns over the continued escalatory actions. The Ministry highlighted that such practices violate the historical and legal status quo in Jerusalem. It emphasized Kuwait's firm rejection of any attempts by the occupation to impose a new reality at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, warning that these actions threaten security and stability, exacerbate violence in the occupied territories, and undermine peace prospects.
Furthermore, the Ministry reiterated Kuwait's call for the international community to fulfill its legal obligations to halt these violations. It underscored Kuwait's steadfast support for the Palestinian people in their quest for legitimate rights and in establishing an independent state based on the June 4, 1967, borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
