Kuwait Condemns Israeli Military Action Against Iran

Kuwait City: Kuwait has strongly condemned the Israeli occupation's aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, describing it as a blatant breach of all international laws, a violation of Iranian sovereignty, and a threat to regional security. The condemnation follows a series of escalating tensions in the region, underscoring the fragile nature of Middle Eastern geopolitics.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the Israeli occupation launched a wide-scale military operation targeting Iran's military and nuclear facilities. This operation resulted in the deaths of key figures, including the chief of army staff, Mohammad Bagheri, along with other military leaders, nuclear scientists, and civilians. The attacks have raised significant concerns about the potential for increased instability and conflict in the region.

Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), emphasized that nuclear facilities should not be attacked under any circumstances, highlighting the potential dangerous impacts on nuclear safety and security both regionally and globally. Grossi's statement reflects the broader international anxiety surrounding the protection of nuclear sites amidst the conflict.

In a related development, French President Emmanuel Macron reiterated Paris's commitment to fully recognize the state of Palestine, asserting that a postponed conference in New York concerning the Palestinian state would not alter France's stance. Macron's statement indicates France's ongoing support for Palestinian statehood, even as regional tensions continue to evolve.
