New york: The State of Kuwait has issued a strong condemnation of the actions of Israeli occupation forces against Palestinian and Lebanese populations. During a United Nations General Assembly session, Kuwait's Diplomatic Attache, Zainab Al-Mansouri, highlighted the systematic crimes committed by Israeli forces since 1967, which have recently escalated to what she described as genocide. According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Mansouri delivered her remarks on behalf of Kuwait's Permanent Mission to the United Nations. The UNGA session focused on a report by the International Criminal Court detailing genocidal acts in the Gaza Strip. Al-Mansouri referred to the ICC report, citing mass killings, forced evictions, starvation, deprivation of medical aid, and maltreatment of prisoners as evidence of genocide and crimes against humanity. The Kuwaiti diplomat further noted that the aggression by Israeli forces has extended into Lebanon, attributing this expansion to the international community's inaction and lack of accountability for the crimes committed.
