Kuwait Condemns Attacks on Civilian Facilities and Aid Convoys in Sudan

Kuwait city: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait's strong condemnation and denunciation of the attacks targeting civilian facilities and humanitarian aid convoys in the North and South Kordofan states of Sudan, which resulted in a number of civilian casualties. The Ministry affirmed Kuwait's categorical rejection of such acts, stressing that attacks resulting in civilian casualties and targeting civilians, humanitarian workers, and relief facilities constitute a violation of international humanitarian law and undermine protection efforts.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the State of Kuwait reiterated its firm stance in support of Sudan's unity, sovereignty, and stability, as well as regional and international efforts aimed at reaching a comprehensive political solution that achieves security and stability in the country.
