Kuwait city: The State of Kuwait expressed condemnation of the attack targeting a mosque in the city of Al-Fasher, Sudan.
According to Kuwait News Agency, a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that Kuwait was against all acts of violence and attacks targeting civilians and places of worship. The statement highlighted Kuwait's call for an immediate ceasefire and the implementation of the 2023 Jeddah Agreement. The agreement is focused on the protection of civilians and ensuring the delivery of humanitarian assistance in line with relevant international resolutions.
The statement also conveyed sincere condolences from the State of Kuwait to the families of the victims and wished a swift recovery for those injured in the attack.
