Kuwait Collaborates with Google Cloud to Propel National Digital Transformation

Kuwait City: Kuwait's Finance Minister Noura Al-Fassam engaged in discussions with Google Cloud's Vice President of Customer Engineering for the Middle East, Africa, and Europe, Chris Lindsay. The focus of their talks was on advancing Kuwait's national digital transformation initiative.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the digital transformation effort includes transitioning to a cloud-based financial system aimed at ensuring more flexibility and transparency. This initiative is a central element of Kuwait's economic reforms. The finance ministry is set to be one of the first government bodies to transition to a digital system, showcasing its commitment to employing cutting-edge technology such as Artificial Intelligence tools to enhance service quality.

These discussions are part of a strategic partnership between Kuwait and the US tech company, Google Cloud, which seeks to develop advanced digital infrastructure across all state bodies.
