Kuwait Charity Distributes Winter Aid to Yemeni Families

Kuwait city: Kuwait's Namaa charitable society has taken significant steps to assist displaced and vulnerable families in Yemen by distributing winter aid to approximately 125 families. This effort is part of the ongoing "Kuwait By Your Side" campaign, now in its 11th year.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Abdulaziz Al-Ibrahim, head of Namaa's communication sector, stated that the aid aims to alleviate the suffering of Yemeni families who are enduring difficult conditions due to continued displacement, poverty, and lack of basic necessities. Al-Ibrahim expressed gratitude towards Kuwait and its citizens for their continued support.

Executive director of Yemen's development society, Rofqa, Majdi bin Harhara, detailed that the aid package included essential winter items such as blankets, keffiyehs, socks, and jackets. These items are intended to meet the basic needs for warmth during the winter season. Bin Harhara praised Kuwait's humanitarian efforts, highlighting the strong bonds and solidarity it shows with the Yemeni people, and emphasized Namaa's crucial role in providing assistance throughout Yemen.
