According to Kuwait News Agency, Kuwait emphasized the need for a comprehensive approach to help children affected by armed conflicts, suggesting that efforts should extend beyond immediate relief to include long-term empowerment and protection. This stance was shared during discussions in New York, where Kuwait highlighted the importance of sustainable commitments to safeguard children's futures in conflict zones.
In a separate statement from Vienna, Kuwait affirmed its unwavering dedication to the principles outlined in the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC). The country pledged continued support to the International Anti-Corruption Academy, underlining its determination to uphold integrity and transparency in governance.
Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef Al-Sabah, also addressed domestic issues, declaring the nation's security services will remain relentless in their fight against the illicit drug trade. This follows a series of initiatives aimed at curbing what Sheikh Fahad referred to as the "pandemic of illicit drugs."
