Kuwait Cabinet Praises Crown Prince’s Speech at Arab-Islamic Summit

Kuwait city: The Kuwait Cabinet expressed high regard for the speech delivered by the Representative of His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, at the emergency Arab-Islamic summit in Qatar.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Kuwait has reiterated its strong condemnation of the Israeli occupation forces' attack on Qatar, describing it as a clear violation of international law and a significant threat to regional stability and international peace and security.

In related developments, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the report by the UN independent international investigation committee, which highlights a full genocide crime committed by Israeli occupation forces against Palestinians in Gaza. Additionally, Kuwait expressed approval of the "Roadmap for Resolving the Crisis in Sweida and Stabilizing Southern Syria," agreed upon by Syria, Jordan, and the United States.

Further diplomatic efforts saw the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcome Luxembourg's intent to officially recognize the State of Palestine. Moreover, the Kuwait-Iraq legal and technical committee on maritime borders demarcation beyond marker No. 162 convened its 11th meeting in Baghdad.

Kuwait also reaffirmed its dedication to environmental protection, with Nouf Behbehani, Acting General Manager of the Environment Public Authority, emphasizing the country's commitment to safeguarding the Ozone layer and promoting sustainable development. The National Committee for implementing Security Council Resolution No. 1325 on Women, Peace, and Security also convened under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In the realm of cultural diplomacy, the Kuwaiti Cultural Days were inaugurated in the UAE through a collaboration between the Kuwaiti National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters, and the UAE Ministry of Culture. This event underscores Kuwait's ongoing cultural initiatives.

In education, schools across Kuwait commenced the new academic year, with students and teachers returning to an environment characterized by determination and eagerness.
