Kuwait Cabinet Names Directorate Headquarters After Late Suleiman Meshaan Al-Meshaan

Kuwait City: The Kuwaiti Cabinet held its weekly session where it made a significant decision to honor the late Suleiman Meshaan Al-Meshaan. The Cabinet announced that the headquarters of the Directorate General of Nationality and Travel Documents would be named after Al-Meshaan, acknowledging his substantial contributions to improving the work systems within the nationality and passports section of the Ministry of Interior.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Minister of State for Communication Affairs Omar Saud Al-Omar provided an update on the recent meeting between His Highness the Crown Prince and Judson Bezek-Althoff, Microsoft's Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. The discussions focused on executing a strategic partnership aimed at establishing a comprehensive digital system. This partnership plans to revamp government services, foster an environment conducive to innovation and investment, and empower national talent through specialized courses in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and advanced technology.

In addition, the Cabinet reviewed the regular report from the Public Authority for Housing Welfare. The report addressed ongoing issues in executing public housing services. In response, the Cabinet directed the housing authority to collaborate with other government departments to advance the housing projects.
