Kuwait Cabinet Emphasizes Nationalization of Health Services

Kuwait city: The Cabinet has highlighted the importance of nationalizing health services to improve care quality and boost the efficiency of national cadres. This initiative aims to enhance the overall healthcare framework within the country.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Kuwait is also actively participating in global energy markets. The Energy Organization's Secretary General, Jamal Al-Loughani, reported that member states of the organization are producing 21.6 million barrels of crude oil per day. This output represents 24 percent of the global crude production, which totals 88.7 million barrels per day.

In related developments, Assistant Foreign Minister for Human Rights Sheikha Jawaher Ibrahim Duaij Al-Sabah reiterated Kuwait's commitment to international human rights conventions. Emphasis was placed on adherence to the Arab Charter on Human Rights.

Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal Bin Farhan Al Saud addressed the need for vigilance and readiness in response to rising regional tensions. This statement underscores the importance of maintaining stability in the area amid ongoing challenges.

Meanwhile, the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, condemned the killing of civilians attempting to access humanitarian aid in Gaza, describing the situation as indefensible.
