Kuwait city: Kuwait's Cabinet on Tuesday examined the progress of a national crackdown on rampant real estate violations in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and Khaitan areas, led by First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Al-Sabah. Kuwait has intensified security campaigns to enforce the law and address widespread real estate and commercial violations in these areas.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Kuwaiti interior minister briefed the Cabinet during its weekly session, presided over by His Highness the Prime Minister Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, highlighting the need for greater cooperation among state bodies to tackle the issue. The minister noted that traffic congestion in the two densely-populated areas, along with violators' attempts to circumvent the law, are significant challenges facing security forces. He emphasized that state bodies are committed to restoring order and enforcing the rule of law.
The Cabinet also reviewed a report by a ministerial-level public services committee regarding donations from state bodies and private firms in support of a national green initiative. The contributions aim to enhance the aesthetic appeal of roads and areas nationwide.
Additionally, the session included discussions on letters addressed to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah from leaders of friendly nations, focusing on efforts to enhance cooperation and strengthen relations between Kuwait and these countries. The Cabinet approved a decision to revoke Kuwaiti citizenship from several individuals, based on investigations and findings by a national committee.
