Kuwait city: An official Kuwaiti delegation led by Dr. Hamad Al-Mekrad, Chairman of the National Committee for Combating Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing, engaged in discussions with British officials to strengthen cooperation in combatting money laundering and terrorist financing.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Kuwaiti delegation met with officials from the British Treasury to explore opportunities for upgrading partnership and exchanging experiences in this domain. Both sides expressed their commitment to enhancing bilateral coordination and supporting joint efforts aimed at improving the efficiency of related systems and procedures, thereby enhancing the safety of the financial sector.
