Kuwait Awqaf Launches “E-Waqf” via Sahel App

Kuwait city: The Kuwait Awqaf Public Foundation (KAPF) announced the launch of its new electronic endowment service, "E-Waqf," through the Sahel application. The service is designed to facilitate all endowment procedures electronically.

According to Kuwait News Agency, KAPF Acting Secretary-General Amal Al-Dallal stated that the service is part of the foundation's ongoing digital transformation strategy and its efforts to improve institutional performance. This strategy aligns with the goals of Kuwait Vision 2035, which aims to establish Kuwait as a financial and commercial hub on both regional and international levels.

Al-Dallal highlighted that the integration of digital technologies into various government operations and community services is crucial for enhancing operational efficiency, transparency, and public trust. These initiatives are in support of national objectives related to sustainable development and the transition towards a smart and interconnected government.

Furthermore, Al-Dallal announced the launch of a direct digital integration with the Ministry of Justice. This integration allows KAPF to electronically manage official inquiries and responses concerning the validity of endowment deeds, in coordination with the Departments of Sharia Documentation and Real Estate Registration.

Additionally, she introduced a new service for real-time tracking of endowers' status. This service, made possible through direct integration with the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI), allows for regular and automated updates to the endowers' database.
