Kuwait city: Kuwait's Chief of the General Staff Lt. Gen. Khaled Al-Shariaan met with UAE Deputy Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Sheikh Ahmad bin Tahnoun Al-Nahyan to discuss issues of mutual interest, particularly military cooperation.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the General Staff statement highlighted the affirmation from both sides on the strength of bilateral ties. The leadership expressed a keen interest in enhancing joint work and exchanging expertise to bolster defense capabilities against various challenges.
The meeting was attended by UAE Ambassador Dr. Matar Al Neyadi, Kuwait's Defense Undersecretary Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Meshal Al-Sabah, Deputy Chief of the General Staff Maj. Gen. Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and senior officers from both countries.
