Kuwait city: His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and the visiting Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Pham Minh Chinh, held official talks at Bayan Palace on Monday. The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across various fields to benefit both nations.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the talks included an exchange of views on regional and international issues of mutual interest. Both leaders expressed a commitment to developing strategic bilateral relations and exploring new domains for collaboration. The meeting was attended by several key Kuwaiti ministers and officials, alongside the Vietnamese Prime Minister's delegation.
During the talks, both sides signed a protocol revising the agreement for visa exemptions for holders of diplomatic and official passports. Additionally, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry's Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute and the Vietnamese Diplomatic Academy of the Foreign Ministry of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The talks concluded with His Highness the Prime Minister hosting a luncheon in honor of the Vietnamese Prime Minister and his delegation.
