Kuwait and Syria Discuss Enhanced Security Cooperation

Damascus: Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Al-Sabah held talks on Tuesday with Syrian Interior Minister Anas Khattab, focusing on efforts to ratchet up security cooperation. According to Kuwait News Agency, the bilateral discussions centered on increasing information exchange to strengthen the fight against narcotics and organized crime. These efforts are part of a broader initiative to enhance security cooperation between the two nations. The Kuwaiti interior minister arrived in the Syrian capital Damascus earlier on Tuesday after an official visit to Lebanon. During his meeting with his Syrian counterpart, both agreed that improving security cooperation is crucial for the region's stability.
