Kuwait city: Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya and Saudi Arabia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud engaged in discussions regarding the historical bilateral ties between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia and explored ways to enhance these relationships further.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the discussions took place alongside the third Kuwait-Saudi Coordination Council meeting held in Riyadh. This meeting aimed to review and strengthen economic, investment, security, and development ties between the two nations. Additionally, Acting Undersecretary of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior Major General Ali Al-Adwani emphasized the importance of enhancing security integration between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
In other developments, Kuwaiti Minister of Commerce and Industry Khalifa Al-Ajil highlighted Kuwait's role in supporting Egypt's development investments through various development funds and joint projects. This support was reiterated during a trade and investment forum linking Egypt and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), which aims to bolster bilateral economic relations.
Meanwhile, in humanitarian efforts, Kuwait's Sheikh Abdullah Al-Nouri Charity Society announced the delivery of one million US dollars in urgent humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza. This initiative underscores Kuwait's commitment to providing relief and support to those in need.
Additionally, the Chairman of Kuwait Red Crescent Society affirmed the organization's dedication to strengthening strategic partnerships with regional and international humanitarian institutions to enhance relief efforts globally.
